Buyers Products SaltDogg PRO6000CH Series Poly Hopper Spreaders give contractors. property managers. and municipalities a powerful 6 cubic yard spreader for commercial and municipal use. The high flow pintle chain conveyor can drive bulk salt. sand. or a 50/50 salt/sand mix at a flow rate of 600 lb per minute. The spreader works with dump trucks and flatbeds with a minimum 25.999 GVW (gross vehicle weight). Its electric-powered design means quieter operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing. giving you more time on the road. The hydraulic version provides the extra power needed for municipal applications.The patented double-wall poly hopper is supported by a corrosion-resistant stainless steel frame and includes two steel top screens to help break up clumps of material during bulk loading. It features a 14-1/2 in. wide. all-steel pintle chain conveyor with a stainless steel trough. An independent 3/4 HP motor or 3.17 CL hydraulic motor powers the conveyor. The included inverted V and 900 lb vibrator help break up clumps and keep material flowing. An 18 in. polymer spinner. powered by an independent 1/2 HP. 12V motor or 3.17 CI hydraulic motor. spreads material 5 ft to 30 ft. The PRO6000CH features a chute with an open trough and stainless steel spinner shield. The spinner assembly can be easily removed for cleaning and storage. The vibrator and independent conveyor and spinner speeds are controlled by an in-cab controller for the electric version. Vinyl tarp kit and tie down kit sold separately.
